Alibaba AIDC (Alibaba International Digital Commerce) operates multiple international e-commerce platforms, including AliExpress, Lazada, Daraz, Trendyol, Miravia, and other regional platforms. These platforms provide online shopping services to users speaking over 20 languages across more than 100 countries worldwide.
This competition aims to accelerate the development and application of LLMs in search technologies, particularly within multilingual e-commerce domains. The competition focuses on two core multilingual search tasks, supported by curated datasets designed to enhance these capabilities:
- Multilingual Query-Category Relevance Task: Determine the relevance between a user's search query and a specific product category.
- Multilingual Query-Item Relevance Task: Assess the alignment between a user's multilingual search query and a specific product listing.
Both tasks aim to advance multilingual search technologies by leveraging LLMs to improve search accuracy in noisy, real-world e-commerce environments.
